Well, credit where it's due ...
I have to (grudgingly) hand it to the six toed Croydon inbreds ...
A good result, beating Man Utd last night.
I hope they get to the final.

I go up there quite a bit either playing gigs or taking music technique classes at The Brit School. x
JJ,
Our eldest is lucky today......he's at the COSMAT conference here at The Duke of York's Cinema includes watching a special screening of "Skeletons" by Nick Whitfield and meeting the cast and crew for a Q&A session afterwards.....Jason Isaacs, Andrew Buckley and the brilliant Will Adamsdale ( Four Lions ) included. :0)

I would say that a "weakened team" is one where the majority of players lack premiership experience, players that are coming through from the youth team, all the big clubs use tournaments like these to get to see members of the squad in action. Players that are in the team to get a bit of match fitness after overcoming injury. The press and media would also use terms such as "under strength". This kind of team selection has long been a bone of contention between the football clubs and the FA.
