Office Party Funny Awards?
Hi all,
I have to come up with some funny awards to give out during our office party and my mind has gone completely blank on me. The awards would need to be like "The biggest gossip" etc etc....please send me all your ideas and/or weblinks that could help. Many thanks and Merry Christmas

I agree with the person who said 'don't do it'. It's fraught with danger. What's funny to one person is a soul-destroying bullying tactic to someone else. I've been at office parties where lots of people think those awards are SOOOO funny and then you find someone sobbing their eyes out in the loos, or like me, kept it to myself but tortured myself with it for years afterwards (not the award, just the 'title'!!). When you think about it, most of those joke awards are really just a subtle way of being a bit nasty to someone under the pretext of humour - they can't get upset because that would show they have no SOH. Unless you can do it without any hint of 'bully' I'd steer well away from it if I were you.

I've personally hosted tons of office parties that hand out funny awards. The show is always a big hit.
Some of the Funny Office Awards I give out include:
* Cheap Watch Award - for most tightly wound
* Running with the Bulls Award - for biggest risk taker
* Room Service Award - for showing up sometime before lunch
* Houdini Award - for being able to escape from any bind
I have over 200 to choose from and you can find them at FunAwards.com - just look for the ones with my name on them, "Larry Weaver".
Check out the video for photos from the office parties.
