There is another (possibly Chas and Dave did a cover of it) song called "Boiled Beef and carrots"
Which includes the lines... "Don't live like vegetarians, on food they feed to parrots"
So, could it be 'Parrots'....

I think 'Rabbit' is a perfectly acceptable answer. Vegetarian food is often disparagingly called 'rabbit food' or 'only fit for rabbits'.

Hi. I am looking to solve a question that asks "For what is vegetarian food fit for?" and the answer is somewhere in some song lyrics. I was looking for a song title as that would lead me to the answer.

Other questions are "What lights the corners of my mind?" and the answer is "Memories". "Where was I waiting at twelve o'clock today?" with an answer "At the church".

Good luck with your entry but it seems to me that the link between those lyrics " Don't live like vegetarians, on food they feed to parrots " and the question "what is vegetarian food fit for" is not very strong.
But i can't think of anything better.
I wonder if lots of people are asking this as loads of searches have been made on the web on this question
