What was the most far fetched excuse that you have said or heard from someone trying to have a day off. I had a collegue who said she had been kidnapped.

a lad at my place turned up to work late with the excuse that the road was closed off because there were camels running about. mind you he did live by the west midlands safari park so i'm not sure if he was lying or not!

My ex was Muslim and he said he was arrested by the police through the Prevention of Terrorism Act, and was refused a phonecall, strip searched and beaten up.

we had a serial sick day man who used to work at my place, he called in one day and said that he had a dead arm and had developed an involuntary twitch!
