I now find I have lost my Google Toolbar so consequently all the sites I regularly visit eg. AnswerBank and most of the popular newspapers have disappeared, so I can no longer press the button and get immediately to those sites.
Is there anything in FireFox 8.0.1 that will allow me to do this again?
Thanks for your answer Chuck, can you please answer a couple of questions?
When I load Firefox with my selected browser web page, the tool bar doesn't show although I have clicked it in 'View' I first have to unclick it and then click it before it appears.
Since I wish to put all the newspaper sites together, and there doesn't appear to be enough room on the menu bar, how can I put them in the most visited icon which is also on that menu bar?
Try view > toolbars > customise and then clicking the restore default at the bottom...
As for the newspapers etc, you can right click on the bookmarks toolbar and select create folder and then put all the newspaper links in one folder. then click on the folder to show a list of everything in it.
It builds up after you visit sites regularly.
Waste of time if you ask me .. I deleted mine.
Make your frequently used sites appear in the Bookmarks Toolbar alongside the Latest News live bookmark, by copying and pasting from other Bookmarks or dragging/dropping.
