Tesco's sponsoring who?

Can anyone inform me if this is correct .. I was told that Tesco's have stopped sponsoring Cancer programmes and are now sponsoring Gay Pride. .. Is this true?

No not true, it was a Daily Mail stir up story.
It is just that this year the 'Run for life ' breast cancer charity is not their 'headline charity' as it was last year. Tesco still give over £4 million every year to cancer charities but this year gave a one off donation of £30,000 to a 'Gay rights ' appeal in addition.

don't panic pee-wee, I didn't see it either, and I was just ready to start typing my views, but it looks like all sides of the story have been covered. so I will shut up. ( I'm going to asda in future)
