Bloody terrible!
Tried to get into it. Watched a couple of matches. Absolute tosh. Snooker is a skilful game and is not to be confused with pool, where potting is just about all there is. Some of the best snooker frames are those where safety plays an important part, or where snookers are needed. The “power” version has as much in common with snooker as the 20/20 game has with cricket. It happens to be played with the same equipment in very roughly the same way, but that’s about it.
I’m sure there’s an audience for the game. Those who like darts will probably be attracted as will those who cannot concentrate on what is quite an intricate game.
Not for me though.
