As the>one helpfully posted I tried http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles/h/herecomethedoubl_7773200.shtml
While, that's from the BBC web site so I guess it has to be the definitive answer but like others, I'm positive I saw it on a Saturday morning as well. I think they repeated it on the Why Don't You Switch Off Your Television etc .. together with the Banana Splits. I loved the show and thought I was the only person who remembered it. Could never make up my mind whether I was Tiger or Billie. I am totally gobsmacked that they only ever made 17 episodes.
I tried to confirm my recollection of a Saturday morning show, but when I checked the BBC website, there were no references to Why Don't You!
Thinking I was going mad I did search the net. The best I could come up with was a blog http://www.twee.net/Indiepop/posting.htm?id=199506063647 so if I am really going mad I suppose I will find myself in a parallel universe with someone called Sean Kyle-Price.
Being a mine of really useless information did you know that Brinsley Forde of the Doubledeckers was lead guitar with Aswad and also appeared in the movie Babylon?
