she dumped the 'unnacceptbale' ones at the back, and if anyones wasnt totally lovely you would never hear the end of it, shed go on an on about them and what rotten people they were, and analysing what they 'really' meant by the choice of picture -
snowman or santa meant they thought she was fat..or had a big nose. alcohol was a hidden insult calling her an alcoholic,
robins or winter scenes, she thought were a cop-out,
reindeer - shes was a mule.
presents were the only nice one as she felt it was what they wanted for her...
she was menopausal i think so everything was an attack...silly idiot

We've started receiving them already and the decorations are up everywhere, so now is about the right time to start getting them, for us at least, as we can display them up on the racks and around the home......looks nice and festive with a few cards dotted about.
Going away soon for Christmas, so will probably have a fair old few on our return, as some family/friends really leave it late to send them out.
"Proper" to give?......Most of ours are written out ( by me every year, I hasten to add) as mrs bear just hates writing them out, but loves everything else to do with Christmas..........the "far far away" ones are on the way now....and the UK and European ones... I'm thinking to post out either this Friday or Monday.....spent a fortune in stamps and special delivery parcel costs........baaaaaaahhhh humbug :0)
