I found that although the songs were there, they were actually inside another folder, so the MP couldn't read them. I don't know if I've explained this well enough, but it was as if they were hidden behind one more layer which masked them from the reader. So for example, I had a Keane album in a folder, which actually had another folder inside holding the songs.
I put them back onto the PC and "stripped" them of the excess layer (ie removed them out of the superfluous folder) then transferred them back onto the MP3 and hey-presto they all worked!
exactly aliflump! this things really annoying me so i wanted everybody 2 c my question and like aliflump said it could have gone in either category and i did think about what one would be best for ages and ages but in the end i just decided to stick it in both to save me a few hours! sorry anyway!
yea i suppose that could be a reason! il have to look and c what it looks like, i know there is an option on it that shows u what folder you are lookin in so maybe if theres2 folders in 1 then that might show me! il have to have a look. thanks anyway!
