As part of an essay i need to find out about the history of the CJS, there is enough out there about police history and the first black officers etc but not much for other aspects such as lawyers etc.

it is for an essay on race and the barriers BME have when trying to jobs within the british CJS
many thanks

Thank you!
For those not familiar with these TLAs:
I think, BME=Black and Ethnic Minorities

CJS may be Criminal Justice in Scotland http://www.cjscotland.org.uk/ rather than the Countryside Jobs Service http://www.countryside-jobs.com/
