I keep getting this message and have tried to do a system restore, but nothing happens - I get a blank box. Its ok on certain sites (such as this one) but on others as soon as I load a page I get the message and it all freezes. Any suggestions?

What does the message say? What version IE? (Open .. Help/about)
First do a FULL scan with System Restore TURNED OFF.
Then a full scan with Malwarebytes Anti-malware.
Then .. after reboot after any fixing, re-enable System Restore.

If IE8 on XP and 32bit Operating System (Check in Control Panel/System .. read off version) use this link ..
http://www.softwarepa...ecurity-download.html Download and re-install. If another version .. or 64bit, look/search in Microsoft website for the download.

Thankslbas but that is way too technical for me to understand! When I go onto say facebook I get a box saying Internet Explorer has stopped working and will look for a solution. This never happens. I tried installing firefox instead and uninstalling Internet Explorer but that gave me even worse problems, I couldn't sign in to anything as the boxes you put your log in details in were so slim you couldn't type in them and nothing happened when you put the cursor over them, so I uninstalled it and went back to IE.
The only thing I have added recently is something from my bank called Rapport which I am desperately trying to uninstall, but can't! It gets so far then freezes. How can I delete it totally?
Download Oubit technology, look for uninstall programs, use this for taking out programs you don't want
Sorry orbit
Aiso use System Care 4
Lankeela ..
Forget the first line.
Follow the next Three ..
You should know how to scan with Antivirus .. Open it and scan.
You should be able to find System Restore from Control Panel/System

There is something seriously wrong with your system .. it could be virus or spyware infected. So you must complete the above first.

Ignore the rubbish about installing this and that by Vignon.
That will probably add fuel to the fire.
Forget Rapport for now ..
I never recommend using it .. so long as AV is a good one and Malwarebytes is used.
