Squabbling notwithstanding it is sarko-zeeeeee and Markrae is absolutely correct. For some strange reason I didn't know when I passed 'O' level French. Having lived in France for a couple of years I can affirm that teachers of French in the UK are rubbish (mostly)

I think, strictly speaking, French doesn't stress any syllable - all should have the same value. But it's difficult for an English person to do that without sounding as though he/she is trying to be clever; we naturally want to stress one part of a word because that's the way we do it in English.
