I know this question has been asked a lot, but I just read the posts and cannot find the exact answer. how do I change my avatar.?

I had a good old rummage around Gravatar today and they have a FAQ section, one of the questions concerns avatars not appearing on sites. You have the option to test your avatar and see how it should appear on sites. If it appears properly on Gravatar but not on a site, then it is the site you are trying to use it on who is at fault. Mine appeared properly on Gravatar but hasn't changed here.

AbEd reckons the fault lies with Gravatar but I really don't think it does.

I made a new hotmail account. Changed it on here and then added it to gravatar.

My gravatar doesn’t show up on a particular site!

I assume you know this as you have an avatar. changing the avatar you simply upload another picture into your gravatar account then rate it and confirm it as your primary avatar. then you are done.

cazzz...Folk know how to set-up an Avatar. However, their complaints are in respect of not being able to change them. The Ed has said that the fault is with Gravatar and I am challenging that point of view.

Interesting is that bibblebub's Avatar has arrived at AB towers and the Ed is able to print it in the column of a thread but not above the username. That surely in itself indicates that there is something wrong within AB's equipment. Ref:-

Mine still not changed. Looks OK on Gravatar, cleared cache, but still not changed on AB, I still see everybody's 'old' avatars on Ab despite Ed saying he sees all the new ones.
