What absolutely astounds me is that the FA has chosen to base the team in Kracow in advance and refused to consider the option of moving. So after previous accusations of being "remote" etc. they are now persisting with a base which is not even in the country they've got their group games in and which is the ultimate host for the final.
This is the poorest England team for a generation or two, and will do very well indeed to get out of that group. Although Sweden were recently beaten they always seem to cause England difficulties, France are on the up with a decent manager at last, and even Ukraine seem to have found a bit of form, with Aliyev and Yarmolenko (not the aging Shevchenko) as real threats, plus they will have huge home support of course.
