I've had a shocking day. First the car broke down on my way to court and after receiving a rollocking from His Honour I know I have a big repair bill.

I came home to find that the wind has blown my polytunnel away. I am guessing the rest will follow overnight.

I went out to shut my chickens up to find the wind had blown the henhouse door shut so they had roosted in various places in the garden. Finding three chickens in the dark is not easy and I am now scratched to bits and covered in mud.

I could honestly cry at this moment. So lets have some fun........

Well we're cheerful, Rover's still with us, still seems ok!
Thanks, Cazzz and AYG. This time next year...

BM... Sounds like a dreadful day. I have chilled vino in the fridge if you fancy a glass.

Boxy, who is Rover? It's not your cat that went missing is it?

lol, NoM, I just got back from the shop with a bottle!!!!!!
Lol BM. We were told the reversal is a lot more painful than the original op.
Better make the most of that vino NoM, with a bit of luck, soon you won't be allowed to drink it for some time.

Boxy - I just found your thread about the Rover's Return. What fantastic news. I am SO pleased for you all. What a lovely CHristmas pressie. x
Great news NoM...Fingers crossed xx.

Good news this end, I'm going downstairs to eat Chocolate :o)
I've had quite a good day today. Had a letter from HMRC about my tax credits from April 10 to April 11 saying that I may owe them money, so I rang them up, queried it and it looks like I gave them the wrong figure from my pay last year and that I may be the one owed money. (I'm not holding my breath though).

Oh and I got a new E.On bill which said that I'd be paying over £20 more a month from January so I rang them up and they said they've got a new tarriff which they're going to put me on and I'll save £9 per month each month from my current bill.

And I've wrapped all my pressies and written out all my cards.

:o)))
It will be a miracle if I do conceive. He is surgically attached to the PS3.

If he's not careful, I'll do the operation myself.

lol NoM. I have the same problem with the OH and "cars". I sometimes think I need to surgically remove the laptop. Followed by non anaesthatised (sp) insertion........
Not quite as good news as others but I've got my pre-op on Thursday so hopefully evil gallbladder's days are numbered :D

I'm waiting on a tax rebate too, proving it was hard going enough, getting it back is proving to be harder!
