Missing avatar

My avatar has suddenly disappeared for no known reason. How do I get it back please? Thanks.

Click `My Profile` and see if your avatar is there, if not Click `Show Avatar`
I am on guessing, but it may work.

Have you changed your email address held by either Answerbank or Gravatar?
Look on your profile and see if the box is ticked for 'avatar active'

Something has stirred at Gravatar..my new Christmas avatar appeaerd today...been waiting about a week.....no why it takes so long..:-(

Thanks carlton23, factor30 and commoner - done all that, but still no avatar! Perhaps I will have to wait 3 weeks as well!

Mine had a glitch too. Put the Christmas avatar on 20 mins ago and had to restart Firefox twice to see it in operation.
