If you believe the Bible you can, Time of Birth, Length of Ministry. Jesus evidently was born in the month of Ethanim (September-October) of the year 2 B.C.E., was baptized about the same time of the year in 29 C.E., and died about 3:00 p.m. on Friday, the 14th day of the spring month of Nisan (March-April), 33 C.E.
Mt 2:1, 13, 20-22; Lu 1:24-31, 36; 2:1, 2, 7. So the popular date of December 25 as the day of Jesus’ birth has no basis in Scripture and show it stems from a pagan holiday.
Until the change from the Julian to the Gregorian calender in 1742 Christmas day fell on Jan 6th on our system.
Another hangover is the associaton of snow with Christmas. Snow is a lot more likedly under the 'Old Christmas' on Jan 6th.
