Taking imodium and colchicine together

Hi, does anyone know if its OK to take the above together as the colchicine is causing diarrhoea, and the imodium to stop it? Thanks

Tamirra, given your state of health (from previous posts) I wouldn't self-medicate without taking advice - if you can't get hold of your GP in the morning, ring your local chemist, the pharmacist is well-placed to advise you about things like this. What does it say on the information leaflet which came with the cochicine? it says here to stop taking it if you get the side effects listed http://drugs.webmd.bo...urce=2&isTicTac=false

To stop medication if diarrhoea persists for more than 3 hours, this has been done but the diarrhoea is still present.
