Who is playing silly devils?

On questions, my avatar is the right one, poinsettias, but on my profile it's a cartoon type cyclist like a road sign......not an image that I have ever chosen or set up on gravatar.

I had the gravatar 'G' for an hour

I had that the other day, I thought it was because I had tagged my picture ( the poinsettias) PG instead of G. I reloaded it and retagged it and got my right image back

I've reported this problem to the techies previously, and received a reply from the Ed that the team were aware of ongoing problems with Gravatar. I emailed back, on Friday evening (so my mail probably hasn't reached the technical team yet) to point out that problem seems to be unrelated to Gravater, since the mystery avatars which keep appearing aren't even being sourced from there!

(You'll see that it comes, unsurprisingly, from the Gravatar website)
but the URL of the the cyclist is

which is from this website!
