just cold and miserable in the capital, had no choice to go out first thing, but not going any further today.

Just noticed a bluetit checking out a nesting box in the garden......Spring must be on the way.

Supposed to warm up again soon... about 10 degrees for christmas or something. It's actually quite mild where I am given that this time the last two years there's been snow. Still cold to me though.

missprim bluetits are around throughout the winter but it seemed a bit odd for them yo be taking interest in a nest box......what can they be thinking of?
