crystal glasses.... very pretty unpleasant to drink from too delicate for everyday....when I split from ex she had them .... some I'd bought for her so she was better off with the set probably amounted to a few hundred quid over the years
Sitting in my downstairs cupboard, still in its unopened packaging after 8 years is a top of the range steam cleaner ........................................
A signed football shirt. It cost me a fortune in a charity auction that I was unknowingly bidding against my boyfriend in (thefore pushing the price up between us) and the flaming thing just sits in it's frame doing sod all. It wasn't even a decent team.
a cat costs that to buy? Or does that include jabs etc? Wow, either way. Even getting a new human costs less than that, though the extras pile up a bit.
A redundant top of the range steam cleaner queen charlotte? Wow you should try it, I have had one for years and wouldn't be without it - 3 times a year I whizz through the house and clean all the carpets and kitchen units! Hard work but brings them up a treat. Bit of a faff getting it all set up but once you have filled it and its up to steam you can get going ......... is it a Polti like mine? I actually got it with the commission I'd earned from a mail order club I used to run, but I think they are well over £400 now!
Got our cat Ella for £20 too from the RSPCA Rescue. She was chipped neutered, and had her injections. Beautiful cat too a sort of lavendar blue short hair with a white face & bib.
An electric cooker with solid heating plates which rusted and fell to pieces and were replaced under warranty. The control for the oven is connected to a parallel universe and the insert for the grill pan allows bacon to be held in the shape of a pyramid ensuring that most is left raw while the top is in flames and the catch on the oven door is so stiff that the whole machine strains against it's retaining chain when you try to open it.
I'm keeping a keen eye on the price of scrap metal!
