But before I do, seems like everyone on here has been or is going to hospital!
Anyway, some might remember my failed operation in November, Got a letter today and I have been booked in again at the end of January, this time for conventional scull cracking, banned from driving for two years, brain surgery. Sort of surprised cos I was told it was difficult that way,
Actually felt better for two weeks after the last one, but I'm back to how I was before - weak, falling over, occasionally deaf.....
Oh well - need to try I suppose but I'm not looking forward to it!
Hope all goes well for you PD, I know what it is like getting hopes up and then the op being a waste of time.
Hopefully this time they will clear your problems, I have lower spine problems that make my legs give way at times so know the feeling but would not want to be in your position.
My one regret is it is Oxford again. Nothing against the hospital at all but if it can't be local then I would have preferred London as it is easier to get to from here. My friends from the old place could have easily visited too.
Posty I wish you well in January and am sure the team has thought long and hard about the procedure that will give you the best results, then you can get your life back, try to have as good a Christmas as possible in the meantime.
