/// Standards may have dropped in the AOG household, and this foul mouth rant be be acceptable to you, but most people do not want to hear or
see it. ///
Please don't you dare accuse me or my family of having lax standards, I take that to be an insult to both myself and my family, so please apologise sir.
/// You were probably watching the news before the watershed. We don't really want role models like the England captain mouthing the C-word while children are watching. Likewise, newspaper reports have written his comment as " ****ing black c*** ". ///
For your information it was after the watershed, and besides if children were watching (which they shouldn't have been) do you think they or even most adults are skilled enough in their lip-reading techniques to be able to decipher what a person might be saying?
Somewhat easier however when one is given a clue by being told by the newspapers what was 'allegedly' said.

Chelsea are wrong to say that they will support the player, whatever the outcome.English football has worked hard to combat racism. But all that good work can be undone by one shortsighted act.
Kicking out racism is more important than any player or any Club can ever be.

Yes racism is bad (ie calling someone names) but it's hardly in the same league as kicking someone and breaking their leg. People need to get it into perspective. Some people are obsessed with percieved racism as though it's the worst crime in the world. They are constantly looking out for it in everything anyone might say or do. It's become an obsession.
