as a newbie to the show - just seen about 10 episodes - what's the background to the Yusef/Masood/wife thingie - why is Yusef intent on getting back to Pakistan? Many thanks for any info

you never said a truer word Pusskin! have always absolutely loathed soaps but for some reason have got hooked - maybe they put out subliminal messages to keep you interested. -Happy New Year x

I've been more or less hooked on EE since day one. Like rsvp, not an especial 'soapie' and it's the only one I watch, but I love it. Despite what some people say about the quality, I find the general standard of the acting excellent, especially from the kids (Jamie Borthwick [Jay] is a joy to watch). I wish people would realise that the reason certain characters are wet/boring/useless is because they're written/acted that way. We're not supposed to like them!
