Does this mean that "The Labour paradise" of paying people not to work causes SOME (not the majority) to become criminals?
Or is it the huge subsidy that allows the free time to prey on hard working others.
Maybe abolishing long term unemployment benefit for those who commit crime might encourage some of thise vriminals to work?

Nothing new in that report, by the way it says 38% have been convicted OR cautioned in the last 2 years.I would imagine that is not a lot higher than the population in general. Then surpirise surprise it goes on to say 80% of those released from prison are still unemployed after 2 years.
Who would have thought that !
In a time of high unemployment who would you choose employ a person with a 'record' or someone who was 'clear'?
All this proves is that once you have a crimnl record getting a job as even harder than for the rest of us, blindingly obvious I would have thought.
Cutting benefit for anyone with a criminal record would have one very obvious result and you don't need me to tell you what that would be.
