Hi All

Nurse was checking my blood pressure (which was okay) and found that I had an irregular heartbeat.

Sometimes racing, sometimes slow and quite often missing a beat or two.

I have had an ecg and am waiting for Doc to receive results.

However, my question at the mo is - can having an irregular heartbeat make you feel generally unwell?

Thanks in advance

The answer to that question depend upon the cause of the irregular heart beat.........it might, or it might not.

You will have to be patient young lady.
I have an irregular heartbeat Chickadee and I am generally well apart from being a migraine sufferer. I have never had any issues with it, but it may just be an individual thing. Hope all goes well :)
yes and no! you are in the best hands x
My mum has always had this and she is 88
mr mac had atrial fibrillation which is a form of irregular heartbeat and it made him feel absolutely awful chickadee - so it is possible but as sqad says, it depends.
When I had that problem I was given the electric pad shock on the chest, but it didn`t help so I was given a pacemaker which does the job and keeps on working for the last eight years.
