With two strikers going to the Africa Nations Cup,I sincerely hope Arsene does sign him if only to cover for a couple of months, In my opinion and as a long or very long Gooner I honestly think,he will be a big asset to the club .

No, by the time the CL comes round again he'll be nearly due back in the US. Whereas there are several league games in the 2 month time slot he's got, plus FA Cup. The Premier League is the one that matters as there's more chance of finishing in the top 4 of that than winning the CL in my opinion.

I wonder why the African Cup of Nations is still played biennially? Surely it's time it was held only once every 4 years.

I just don't get this; he failed to shine in the USA, although I'm not denigrating their league as I've been to a few games and it's really quite good, but I would have expected the Henry of old to have a field day there. I stand to be corrected, but I'l be very surprised if he does much in the Premier League.
