Ha, me too Beattie ! I have just returned home after spending new years eve at a party - but not drinking as a designated driver :) - so just poured myself a large glass of bubbles BLISS ! Cheers !

I'm approximately half-way through my second bottle of Georges DuBoeuf Chiroubles, a particular favourite of mine.

I did, of course, have a wee dram on the stroke of midnight. Talisker tonight.

Happy New Year I gotta take my drink and check my mum is ok. Was it a wise decision to give a 93 year old with dementia, a new year drink at bedtime. I am about to find out. Goodnight!

I`m half way through the second bottle of champers. First one was something pink and unrecognisable that OH bought. This one`s the last of the Sainsbury`s Taittinger special offer. I might as well indulge as I would like to seriously avoid alcohol for quite a while

Watching Best of Glastonbury, brings back memories, I was there. Working I might add and the artistes loos were the pits, and the leather sofas in green room were covered in mud, but was good fun.
