Why does the BBC put the Lottery draw on as such wildly varied times?
11 Answers
Draw is on at 11.40 tonight , it was on at a very late time last saturday (which suggests the draw was recorded earlier in the evening). other times its at 8.30pm. Is the draw at the mercy of BBC's programming schedule. 11.40 is a ridiculous time to run the draw!!

However as i see you have a computer and obviously can use it this site may help with your frustration as to wanting results sooner. " if indeed the draw is prerecorded " and assuming they update the site quickly.

SC they don't update that quickly on the site...I find the best one for quicker results most times is http://www.lottery.co.uk/results/
ironically the fastest site for lottery results other than the TV is ...
http://lottery.merseyworld.com/
Basic in the extreme but fast and no nonsense, i use it all the time if i miss the live draw on the tellly.

Why all the fuss of a separate programme just to come up with a few numbers, why the need to have a specific machine, picked by 'Dave of Doncaster' and operated by a bloke with white gloves. Just post the numbers onscreen in a break between programmes somewhere, and spare us all the associated twaddle.
