In an effort to relieve poor Noraq's mortification (of which I and probably the majority of ABers know nothing incidentally) has anyone ever experienced that situation where you've had one (or two) too many and everyone else around you appears to be completely sober? People are chatting to you and you're trying desperately to hold a half sensible conversation, but you're swaying a little, giggling a lot, and you know you're slurring your words - but there's nothing you can do about it? I have. :o))))
Whatever it was Noraq - don't worry about it. A very Happy New Year to you - and all the lovely Chatterbankers. :o)
Many, many times in the past Naomi. Thats why I don't drink anymore. I've had a glass of wine each evening over the last few nights but thats all and I've got a tiny amount left so I'll have that tonight and that will be all. No more for me. I never want to be in the situation where I've got my head in the toilet pan again! Lol
Happy New Year naomi24. and yes..oh dear yes!...I have done all of the above..been a fair while since those days thankfully.
I look forward to reading your posts in the 'Gawd' room...I find your posts both informative and entertaining in equal measure.....oh..and yes..you have a ''readership'' let me say. xx
It's a curious thing about embarrassing behaviour when drunk. You seem to be able to remember every tiny detail of what you'd rather forget yet everything else about the evening is lost in alcoholic fuelled amnesia.
