Considering they have already offered a substantial reward for the capture and conviction of the killer.

And also offered a full apology to the family, so much so that today they are sending a senior officer, accompanied by a family liaison officer, to meet the family.

But apparently this is not enough.

The BBC (and others) had the murder being charged as the headline news, because it was. This has been an high profile murder and capturing the apparent culprit is newsworthy.

Unfortunately, there are many murders. If the circumstances are often repeated such as one gang member stabbing another gang member, or a domestic arguement ending in a fatality, then its newsworthyness diminishes.

The Salford murder was unusual (thankfully) and it is for that reason it has been prominent in the news.

I do not buy into the paranoia of the Telegraph poster (and you, if the reason you reposted it is because you share the same view) that the Police, the DPP, the BBC, the Telegraph and the rest are anti-white.

This has been a shocking murder and has brought shame on the country. The Police should be congratulated for apparently solving it so quickly, and taking the very dangerous individual off of the streets. I find your constant criticism of the police and authorities in this case as being a bit warped and misplaced.

The criticism of the Telegraph for not reporting the capture of the murderer of Richard Manningham Bowes in the Ealing riot is wrong. They did report on it.

The murderer was a youth who cannot be named for legal reasons, so that effectively limits what the Telegraph can report.

The only criticism I have made is their need for the police to offer such a huge reward and the need to send a senior police officer over to India, and why only in this particular case?

I don't want to get into a debate about which murderers are more shocking than others, but if you do not think that walking up to a complete stranger and shooting them at point blank range through the head in an apparently motiveless murder is not a shocking incident then I pity you.

Anuj Bidve was here on a student VISA doing a degree in microelectronics. Universities are grateful for Fees from overseas students as it helps them pay the teaching of more English ones. Of course i think this shooting is a shocking incident, as all such killings are.

But what I do question is the fact that this one in particular seems to have been given more attention than other such similar killings?

It seems to be almost on par with the Stephen Lawrence murder.

Of course shooting someone in the head is sick, but to some it could be a form of rebelling, since rebelling can take on numerous forms.

From protesting peacefully, to protesting violently ie rioting, to individual abuse of a person or persons, to the most severe killing of a person or person and onward to out and out civil war.

That is the politicians dilemma, that being not to create situations that may spark off any of these.
