Can only think of G B Shaw (George Bernard Shaw). His play The Apple Cart has a character called Boanerges. Can't really see the connection, but thought I'd say in case it helps even a tiny bit.

Are you sure you have the enumeration correct.

T. E. Lawrence (of Arabia) met his death while riding his motorbike, which he called Boa, short for Boanerges (Son of Thunder)

T E Lawrence used the name "J H Ross". I'm thinking this fits better than GB Shaw. Hope this helps.

Hi Cheerybob, I'm doing the same quiz (they get more convoluted each year)
For that one I had T.E.Shaw which is the mname T.E.Lawrence re-enlisted under. Boanerges was the name of his motorbike on which he had his fatal accident.
