I went through a phase of not being able to eat anything White. It was after my sister, and her then husband, cooked some weird potato bake dish for me, which wasn't cooked.
The potatoes were hard, and the sauce was... well.. just disgusting! Watery, sloppy, garlicy, mush.
I honestly could not eat anything White, for at least a year! It put me right off.

most of my mil and fils cooking, got italian blood but cant cook pasta for toffee (fil puts ginger in spag bol euch) and there mac and cheese leaves a lot to be desired. Worst meal though has to be my dads soy meat curry, none us can eat soy meat products to this day because of him!It was a case of eat or go hungry i would rather gone hungry but was made to eat it!
My worst meal was the last meal allowed the night before an operation - it was years ago and there were no meal choices in those days in the little cottage hospital I was staying in. I was upset to find it was macaroni cheese so stodgy that you could slice it with a knife (I absolutely hated it from childhood) I was so disappointed as I was hungry and knew I wouldn't be eating for another 36 hours or so. The smell of it nearly turned my stomach, so the nurse took pity on me and made me a small cheese sandwich........ I can still remember this meal over 30 years ago!
