How to make myself look as good as possible for a night out!!
40 Answers
Help!! My husband has announced that we are meeting his friend and his partner for an eve out as a foursome. I have met this woman just once, and to say she is stunning is an understatement. She is one of those people that you just cannot stop looking at, oh, and she is a lot younger than me as well. Head turned everywhere she went the one time I met her.I am just dreading the eve as no matter what I wear or do, I will look like a sack of potatoes next to her, and I have to sit with her all eve with all eyes on her. So my question is, any advice to make the best of yourself, any little tips, or shall I just book the plastic surgery now??

They have their own insecurities and we all wish we had a bit more of what the other has. I don't worry that everybody is going to be all eyes on them when we go out, we go out as a group and enjoy ourselves as a group without really caring what other people are doing, (unless there is the possibility someone might share their food with us, then we'd be interested).
If I spent my time worrying about all the many, many physical flaws I have I would never leave the bloody house! There's no point in worrying about it. Just do your normal preparations you would do for any big night out and enjoy the evening.

Smowball, my ratter works mainly with young women and they nearly all look an awful lot prettier than I do. I could easily be their grandmother, which doesn't help, lol. But you know what? It took me a long time to realise and believe that none of this means anything to him. We are both friends with all the girls, but he is not attracted to them in any other way. Remember, beauty comes from within and while this girl may be "eye candy" and may even have a great personality to match, she won't be everyone's cup of tea!! Many beautiful women actually find it hard to be treated as "normal", to be accepted and to find a lasting relationship. So just be your lovely self and don't worry. Whatever you do, do not overdo your makeup in a panic or become nervous in her presence. There is no need!! Hugs and have a lovely night out!
