Head pain...

Just a quickie, whilst i've just been reminded of it...

For the past 3 days, I've been getting a sharp pain in the side of my head. It's about 4 inches above my left ear, and is not constant but more quick and sharp.
The only way I can describe it, is it feels a bit like a quick electric shock. It doesn't hurt very much, but does make me go "ouch".
it comes and goes, every couple of minutes or so.

Any ideas?

I get that occasionally flip and it used to worry me, but over the years nothing happens so I assume its a nerve ending or something. I do also get "visual migraines" about twice a year but the Doctor assured me there wwas nothing wrong. If you are worried just get it checked but I think you'll be fine (maybe the hard work of christmas?)

Thanks Ann.

I've taken some ibuprofen, and it seems to have done the job.

I've got a doctors appointment on Friday, so may mention it to him, if it's still happening.
Like you say, nothing to worry about, I'm sure.

:-)
Did you nod off in the kitchen prior to discovering your ' visitor' ? Seriously its probably tension due to constant worry about Ratty.

Haha :-)

Yeah, it could be actually.
Doesn't sound a big deal and tension is a good suggestion, however just watch out for a tell-tale rash on the same side of the face.
