Memory Stick
Among my Christmas presents I was given a digital photo frame and a 128MB memory stick.
Is it possible to work out how many photos I can transfer from my computer to the memory stick please?
Thanks in advance.

From my Computer check the available memory of the stick. Start putting photos into a file on your desktop and every so often check the size of the file does not exceed the available memory of the stick! Hope this helps missprim

You can get some idea of photo size if you open up one of your folders of pictures, then look at the icons top right of the box. One of these will allow you to alter the views - eg 'large icons' or 'list'. Choose the view that says 'details' and then you'll see next to each photo their size in kilobytes. So if each pic is about 2000 kb (2mb) you'll get about 64 on a memory stick of the size you have.
A good way to resize pics quickly for something like a photo frame is to use fotosizer: http://www.fotosizer.com/

Sorry if this is slightly off-topic from the original question, but I have a couple of digital photo frames, both running off memory sticks
BUT
I'd love to be able to "randomly" fill a memory stick from a folder (or folder + subfolders) of images - but I haven't been able to find anything that will do it
I would have though anyone with a decent collection of digital photos and a photo frame would want to do this!
Cheers
