A Polish man is doing all the job by himself, and he really get`s on with the job... can`t wait to have a shower, so I`m telling everbody "Stand down wind from me" The best part is....it's not costing me one tiny penny.
In a flat ? I'd imagine you could but you'd need to be sure it was watertight if there is anyone below you. At work we have shower rooms, which are in affect wet rooms, on each floor, and there hasn't been any problems so far. But that said I guess they are all on top of each other, and the company owns the lot so the risk of hassle to others is removed.
bednobs, yes, Social Services are getting it done for me, as I have been on the list for about 7 months. Being an old fart I can`t get `my leg over` anymore, as my OH will verify, so looks like a sunny future ahead in 2012.
I am in a flat with a wet room. Curtains were supplied but I hook them back as I cant stand flappy wet curtains. However, a very efficient electric pump takes the excess water away and the whole floor doesn't get wet.
Craft, They supplied a shower stool weeks ago when I found I would have to sit out instead of sit in.
Cupid. It`s about £9000 + as I will have to have better access (A Ramp) to my front door with my wheel chair. (also supplied)
Well, it`s in, (the chair lift) and a young lad who couldn`t have left school very long spent all day fixing it, but he made a good job of it, and now I don`t have to gasp for breath when I get to the top of the stairs.
