is it possible for someone to end up with purple pubic hair?! lol :P a random debate with a friend! even a genetic mutation surley would struggle to make purple - but if scientists played about with just those genes could it be possible?

see now i think electric blue or purple natural hair would be pretty cool :) or a vibrant red :P

well blue pigment exists in nature in the eyes, so coupled with ginger/red haor could give a sort of purple colour...

not sure how the blue would get into the hair of course... but if by some bizarre occurrence it did...

although i have a vague feeling that the blue colour is really the absence of pigment or i may have mixed that up with somehting else...

in short, probably not...

Err returning to the original question, no it's never likely that anyone is ever going to be born with purple pubic hair. The requirements for this to happen from a genetic viewpoint are impossible to achieve. the same applies to the other colours proposed.
