Well I got a replacement for my computer with the faulty mouse pad but I keep getting this message on start up.

The same thing happened on the last one and I managed to remove it but can't remember how.

Any ideas please

The message "no disc in hard drive" does not make sense, are you sure you have written it down corrently?

When do you get this message?

Does Windows start up, do you get the Windows desktop, can you do any "work" on it?

Where and when do you get this message?
Wild guess but do you have a USB stick plugged in on boot up?

The message came up when the computer was booted up.
I went into device manager and checked that everything was working properly and found some of the drivers had to be updated.

Wasn't too sure what I was doing but it seems to have worked.
I get that message occasionally - there is no logic to it. I just press Cancel and it goes away.
