Evening everyone,

Hope you are well.

Right, here goes...

A mate of mine left his job at the end of December to take part in a walk for Charity, and I am looking to boost his sponsorships!! :-) His name is Sam, he is lovely and he is walking from Pembroke in Wales to Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

It is a total of 264 miles and he is mainly walking it on his own staying over night with people he knows and hostels.

The charities he is raising money for are -

YMCA
MND - Motor Neurone Disease
EJAF - Elton John Aids Foundation

The link is -

http://www.justgiving.com/Sam-Skinner1

(although that is for the MND page, as he is supporting 3 charities, there is a page for each and the money raised will be split between the 3 charities)

I know it is just after Christmas, but if any of you could spare any pennies to sponsor Sam, I know both myself and him would very much appreciate it :-)

Thanks!

Hi Wiggal - poor Sam. I hope the weather is kind to him. If he can do that walk with the size of that back pack, he is a good man :) x

What does it matter if he is?

I figure MND must be a charity for gay people too!?
Send my regards to Sam and may he reach and smash his goal.
it doesn't matter, I think it's noble and fair play to him if that's what he wants to do, I wish him all the luck
Every little helps, Wiggal, apart from irrelevant postings. I think I prefer P/P's periods of dormancy.
if he comes through newport and needs a bed for the night give us a shoutx
