It is amazing how popular I have become in the last few days!

My popularity has nothing to do with the fact that all the local hotels are sold out for an international sporting event in early summer and I have a big house with lots of room.
Strangers have been calling - I think they simply find local numbers in the directory and hope to strike lucky.
I could make a small fortune (seriously) but I'm not interested, and I am giving priority to my extended family.
Would anyone else do the same?

I live in a nice area at the coast (house has sea views) and it is amazing how popular I become with relatives in the summer. I've had to toughen up and learn how to say no.
As for strangers -I once came downstairs to find a full adult rugby team asleep in my living and dining rooms - courtesy of my eldest son. I was traumatised for weeks (mind you, several of them were nekkid!)

When I lived in St Albans..suddenly I had hundreds of friends who just "popped"" in to see me on way to airport and/or back...breaks up the journey you know !!!
