....Kirsty,you are one bad mother, and a perfect representatative of the Weatherfield Police.Has any police force ever behaved so obnoxiously,so unrealistically,so unsimpathetically, so uncompromisingly,so unhelpful to the public over the years.Btw Kirsty I don't know the actress playing you, but she's good ,very good...very believable, for an actor thats praise indeed

the Met?
I dont, generally, watch Corrie but dip into it now and then.
The story line they have introduced here is excellent. Depicting a man as the victim of this type of abuse is very different to what is normally shown in soaps
I don't think it is indicative of the police force at all but Kirsty could have been in any profession/job and still be the scary eyed control freak that she is

Excellent actress IMO as well, janzam
There is a twist to this story next Thursday/Friday.....
Oh yes! I could tell stories about fiddles in Merseyside police. My house was burgled and after the police left even more stuff had gone. My son had shaved and used some after shave which had disappeared with the police.
Many years ago a friend worked on the docks. He was visited, at home, by the local police about goods being stolen from the docks.

The policemen were wearing shoes which he recognised as being 'borrowed' from the ships a few weeks before!!

NOTE: he was honest and didnt deal in any of these goods but knew what was going on
