Good evening all!
No question just wanted to tell you all that as a treat to myself I have just booked two weeks in Thailand!
I've not been away for 5 years and after the Christmas I've just had thought I would treat myself :0)
So I now have another good reason to get fit and healthy [and slim]....at the grand age of 42 I shall be attending my first Full Moon party lol!

Going on the 29th of June.....10 days in Koh Samui and two days in Bangkok! Best bit is that I'm going with my best mate who happens to be a 22 yo gay guy....so we know all we're going to get asked is how much I paid for him!

My daughter was in Koh Samui last year and was washed out by floods. Rained incessantly. Not one day at the beach, had to change to a hotel on higher ground, airport closed for days, so no way of leaving early. Luckily it was re-opened the day they were due to leave but an expensive non-holiday.
Hope you have more luck!
Me, I'm off to Scotland tomorrow for a week. You expect it to rain there:)

We went for our third time last year, it is the most fantastic country wth incredible people. Bangkok is a major eyeopener, hell hole really but I'm glad I saw it, Buddha's (and there are thousands of them) are beautiful, be sure to have dinner on a river cruise. I'm well jel! You'll have a brillant time.
