Ed - those flickering adverts are a bad idea

Anyone else finding the flickering ad's a bit trying on the ol' eyesight? Me and my bottle bottom glasses do - makes me quite giddy.
It's noticeable that on the TV they always do a serious 'strobe lighting' warning before inflicting this on the unsuspecting.
I understand the advertisers are desperate for us to notice them, but being me I'm seriously plotting a future without specsavers or asda or anyone else that flickers at me.....

I can't see any flickering ads. What are they for?
Just install an add blocker, problem solved, I've just done it, kind of defeats the idea of the site a little I admit, the site is only in existence because of the adds I image.

God rot specsavers and their flickering advert. Just got me right between the eyes.....
which adverts, mosaic? The only moving one I have is for the smileys, at the top of the page

Funny thing Boxie, most of the ad's no longer do this but a specsavers one came on the top banner right now.
