is it true that you can tie a piece of cotton around them to make them fall off after a few days? i have a few and hate them.

LOL apologies. silly me --it wasnt cotton , it was a hair he pulled out of her head !!!! Where did I get the cotton idea from??? ha ha---sorry ----ha ha

I had a tiny one on my neck and the doctor froze it off for me. It nipped a wee bit but was fine.. and there is no scar.

I removed a skin tag recently by using a home freeze kit, it went in a few days. the kit cost about £12.00, I also removed a very stubborn wart with the same kit, I did have to carry out a slight modification to remove the wart though and took a few treatments :)

before self treatment, ensure they are skin tags and not moles.

I had two on my eyelid -chopped them off with nail clippers.

I had several, went to the GP and she snipped them off in the surgery , simple no pain and over in a few minutes.

Here, we don't use the cotton but we do use small gauge common cotton sewing thread. It's just tied around the base snugly and in just a day or so one notices it's gone... fell off somewhere to be marvelled at by the dog and the lady that operates the vacuum cleaner, if at all...

Just a quick question on here before I try these fascinating treatments. If you tie the cotton tightly around your neck will your head fall off ?

Yes Sibton, I first found out about Tea Tree after I was putting some TT cream on the dog and got some on a skin tag, it was amazing. I hope this isn't classed as animal experimentation Lol.
