Can we ever be sure that security at the Olympic site will be 100%?

Apart from the cost of security at the Olympics, the security bill for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee could be as much as £100M.

Of course we can't - at least until it's all over and nothing has happened.
Nobody can ever be sure that security is 100%
The water & para-olympics are safe with my bikers; security is being tightened evermore daily.
Let's just have the Queen shot before the summer and save a few pennies.
Gromit, that's not nice :-(
^^ and anyway, how much would a State Funeral then cost?

Sorry. I do not wish any harm to the Queen, I just don't know what this thread (there is no question) is for.

The Queen has a jubilee which is unavoidable, and the cost of stopping her adoring public from shooting or blowing her up is apparently £100Million which is also unavoidable.

Both events will go ahead, and the bill for security will be large. But there is no option. Is the OP seggesting the Queen shouldn't have any security?
I thought the OP was complaining first about security at the Olympics, but yes you are right - the Jubilee will happen, and it will need policing. Nothing more than I (and you) expected, really!
there is and always has been big money to be made in fear, security and 'protection'. that mafia made a mint out of it. its not news.

My thread was just a topical subject up for discussion, nothing more and nothing less.

But still the likes of Gromit has to turn it into something much more disgusting, suggesting that we should have the Queen shot to save some money.

I do not know what goes off in that sick mind of his, but I am most surprised that his remark slipped by the ED's scrutiny, but still maybe the security forces are on to it.
