starting diet again today,so far i have had=
2 slices toast,spread,marmite
at 2.30 i will have tea and 'what'
have chicken breast and veg for tea
need some nice menu suggestions,something tasty(i have some parmaham as well)
I just signed on to ask for ideas as to how to cook my chicken breasts for tea tonight! I shall wait and see what suggestions you get. Although i am always on 'a diet' i am cooking for 6 of us and try to make something that we can all eat. If nothing else takes my fancy i think it will be chicken stuffed with cheese (bit less for me!) and wrapped in bacon.
Love chicken stuffed with Philly cheese, wrapped in bacon and oven baked. Also like my chicken breasts flattened, dipped in beaten egg and coated with cous cous. I often add a pinch of chilli flakes for a bit of a kick. These too are oven baked.
my chick. breasts are so big i will get 2 meals out of them,i think i'll flaten one,and do it as maggiebee suggested,i'm getting fed up with curried stuff all the time.
slit as if for kievs stuff with a mix of pesto, breadcrumbs and chopped onion close with cooking string or a skewer coat in egg and breadcrumbs brush with olive oil and bake
this is supposed to be a good slimming world recipe ; Syn free on Extra Easy and Original
Ingredients:
400g sliced chicken breast
1 onion, diced
330ml can Diet Coke
6 tablespoons passata
Dash of worcestershire sauce
Fry Light
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
1. Heat a large saute pan and spray with Fry Light
2. Add the chicken and onion and fry until beginning to colour
3. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil
4. Simmer until the sauce thickens and reduces down to about half its volume - approximately 30 minutes
some add dash of soy sauce and a chicken oxo cube and chinese 5 spice to this too. I shall save this for a day when i can experiment and only cook for me i think - in case its not as good as everyone seems to think it is!
