When Paddy met Sally
33 Answers
Did anyone watch this earlier on channel 5? I found it amazing that Paddy still had such masoginistic and chauvanist views. But i was also surprised at the cleanliness of his home. Not saying i expected it to be dirty, but his wife Rosanne could help clean up hospital wards. Maybe we need some travellers doing the cleaning? If only their men would let the wooooman work.

My house was wide open, they could have taken whatever they liked, instead I came out to find they'd done all my horses and dogs in my absence and everything else was running like a swiss watch. Sterotypes work both ways- they're' certainly not all blarney with a heart of gold but niether do do all of them have horns and an irresistable urge to tarmac your drive badly, beat their wives and nick all your scrap. Get balanced folks- there are some good ones and some bad ones, it's that simple.
Its their culture the men go out and get the money by whatever means they can fair or foul, and the women stay home and clean whether it wants cleaning or not, its like a mantra to them.
I like Paddy too but they are only showing the tip of th iceberg on tv, what gets up my nose is the fact they pay no taxes whatsoever and if I tried that I would be prosecuted.
