What a day so far! got up late as madam didnt go to bed till 2:30 this morning, hubby stayed up with her but i went to bed (bout time he did a night shift!). I phoned him this morning at work and he said to take her for a walk in the field behind us to knacker her out for tonight. Yeah great idea its a quagmire and littered with dog Sugar, titch an i went over several times and she got so distressed she didnt want to walk. I couldnt carry her as i had hurt my shoulder falling, so a dog walker got titch to walk his dog for him which soon got her moving, god i love the help of strangers!hope your days havnt been as eventful!

she needs to learn that some things are unacceptable otherwise you may struggle to control her when she is older. maybe getting her up earlier would be a good idea, after all she needs to get into the habit for nursery then school, not a lot earlier but 7.30 would be a good time.

Is she in a cot or bed? Have you moved her too soon to a bed?
Give her a warm milky drink after a bath, read to her when she is in bed all snuggled down. Hold her hand after you'rve read a chapter whilst she snoozes.
Then get up and stay outside her room for 10 mins. If she gets up during that 10 mins, guide her back to bed.

We follow a definite routine. I get Little Tiggs up at 6am and he's in bed at 7pm. He doesn't go to sleep straight away but plays with soft toys in his cot till he falls asleep. Then he doesn't wake up until 6. He also has a nap for 1.30 to 2 hours after his lunch. When I was on leave during Xmas we were getting up around 8 but went to bed a bit later but once I started waking him at 6am we got back into the routine quite quickly.
The only time he wakes during the night is if he's unwell and then I suffer during the day at work.
